Starting a list of things you do not get a photography merit badge for...just sayin’
Determination and practice.
Challenge yourself to have the finger dexterity to access all the relevant controls with the camera held to your eye in a shooting position. Challenge yourself to 'know' the current value of every exposure and AF variable setting in the camera at all times. Challenge yourself to know that three clicks counterclockwise on the aperture dial just opened the aperture by 1-stop in 1/3 increments. If shooting in manual without AUTO-ISO, you need to make the same change to the shutter making it 1-stop slower to keep the same exposure, or 1-stop slower on the ISO. That arithmetic and finger feel should exist in the same way thoughts and words form in your mind, without any thought at all.
When you become one with your camera, the magic begins. If you want that magic, your camera needs to be an extension of your 'self'.
Practice and determination.

This is one I actually practice as I tend to use manual often.
"CHG CANON" My challenge is to get a good picture, that is enough challenge for me.

How about a T-shirt that says
"I don't give a flip what you shoot."
?
Only if the question is "do you care what I shoot?"

Do statements need to be replies to a question or can they stand by themselves.
Many people make statements without a question being presented.

"Big Daddy" Shoot sports with "M"?
I mainly shoot (99.999%) of the time in M, A, S or Auto. I have no clue what I do most, it always depends on my mood, the environment or the results I'm looking for. I haven't shot sports since my son was in Colt league, unless you count Pool. I've shot people shooting pool. I'm pretty sure what mode I shot depended almost entirely on my mood.
Why do you want me to shoot sports in "M?" I probably would normally shoot sports in manual, unless there was a compelling reason to do otherwise.
All this I only shoot ONE way- Jpeg. RAW M.A.P. whatever and have a T-Shirt, etc- way not a tattoo- at least it wo't come off in the shower or laundry. Or, yoy can get a soldering iron on and brand yourself across o yo forehead!
When I started photography as a kid, things were simpler! I shot Brownie Hawkeye. It had an f/11 lens- one aperture, 2 shutter modes 1/80 sec and Time. It used Verichrome film that had incredible latitude, but I thought latitude was the opposite of longitude. A got 12- 2 1/4 square shots per roll and brought it to the drugstore where they sent it to a lab that probably processed its pickle juice. Miraculously, a week, later 12 perfectly decent JUMBO, glossy, deckled edge prints were returned to me- $3.50. The negatives were pack in glassine. Any people in the shot were squinting because I followed the instruction and place the indirect sunlight with the sun over my shoulders. I had albums full of these masterpieces.
Of course, that was not good enough for ME and I had to have an adjustable 35mm camera. That was the beginning of my downfall in the dark abyss of EQUIPMENT!

I don't keep track of how much I use each mode either. They simply get used, depending on conditions and MY desires.
A recent study found that 68% of the statistics on 37% of the discussion boards are 88% made up.

My first camera was a 35mm Pentax Spotmatic, around Christmas 1975-76. Prior to that I only took a couple of pics if people asked me to take their pic with their camera.
My girlfriend, now wife, once bought a Polaroid Camera and I did some nudes.... YUK. Fastest way to ruin a woman's looks is to photograph her nude. Nude photography is a definite skill which all men think they posses, but close to none actually do. The Nude forum on the Hog is proof of that. My excuse of course was that Polaroid was a lousy camera...

And they made up those statistic? And that's 22%.
There will always be things on a forum you don't like, but there is a simple solution (that doesn't require 11 pages of discussion). Just scroll on by. Life is too short to get annoyed with unimportant things. If you don't like the subject/pics, etc., just move on. It really is that easy.
