Racing to the Bird Feeder. White Dove and friends
I enjoy watching these and many other birds at our feeding station daily. Photo opps vary between shooting farily close (10ft to 25ft) behind a blind (through dbl pane house windows) or, when lucky, outside 50 feet back at the rear house porch. The cardinals and finches, though skittish, are getting used to humans...but only to a point. This was a spontaneous moment caught within about 5 seconds from inside the house. Canon 100-400 MII / 7DMII.
Nice. You feeder must be quite popular.

Thanks. Yes, it is popular, especially with the Cardinals who like to dominate the other birds.

Thank you. Yes, it was very fortuitous. Camera always on a table few feet away. Nature took pity and cut me a quick break.
