Rab-Eye posted a video about our views of life and to avoid cluttering his thread I offer a thought here.

For a while now whenever a cashier or someone else apologizes for a minor inconvenience I reply that if that is the biggest problem of the day it will be a great day. This instantly releases tension and usually generates a smile.

Well thought out, beautiful, and very considerate.
I plan on starting to use it and hopefully continue a trend.
We need something positive like this now . . . .

We are on the same wave length. I use that too.

Another, that I credit to my Dad, a funeral director for 62 years, when asked "How are you?" replied "I woke up!"

Think I'll start doing that today. To paraphrase Arlo Guthrie, we might start a movement.

If you're speaking of the term, "excuse me," I think it is a term of polite society, such as "thank you." Both, to me, seem to be in too little use today.

If I wake up in the morning, put both feet on the floor, and stand up, ITS a good day> There were a few times that the last 2 things were not possible.
