I can never get enough of moms and babies! The birds do not seem to be worried the bison will step on them or accidentally eat them!
Beth, another excellent set. How long was the lens?
Greg
Great set! Those birds know a vegetarian when they see one.
Nice series. The birds know that the Bison will not eat them, much like the seagulls that congregate around fishing bears know that they are safe from predation. I suspect that the furry critters make no effort to avoid stepping on the birds; it is up to the smaller guys to avoid being squashed.
Looks like it was quite a site to watch and enjoy. Thanks for sharing the pleasure with your images!
Wonderful photos, Beth. Love seeing the calves.

Hi Greg, these were taken with the RF 100-500. Great lens and with the R5 you can do a good crop!
Oh the running on the road was with my 5D4 and 24-105!
Great shots and a wonderful series!!
I really do like this set

Beth, you are lucky to have that lens. Been trying to find one for some time.
Greg
Excellent series. Nice to observe Bison in a relaxed natural setting.
