The funny thing is, too many in both parties - yes that includes just as many democrats - would be content with a dictator as long as that dictator had the same ideas.

Look up and read what Chief Justice Warren Burger had to say about the 2nd amendment, and the NRA, years ago. Just in case you've never heard of him, he was a Republican appointed by a Republican president.
