Still having problems on this. I let several years go by & would think by now it would be easy to install. It is the same. Nikon closed till Tuesday will try with their help. Any suggestion with your experience ?
Thanks, & Happy 4TH.

What Nikon camera do you have? I have no problem using SnapBridge with my z6 using iPhone 7 Plus and now 12 pro max for several years. I found out after successfully paired. Just leave them alone do not try to re-pairing next time you use it. You can turn on SnapBridge then turn camera on wait for them to connect. Do not try to pair them again. It will mess the whole thing up. If for some reasons you need to repairing them, the best way is to delete the SnapBridge and re-install the SnapBridge app again. By the way I am using Bluetooth not WiFi. The best feature of SnapBridge is all my photos are geotagged. Of course, the auto transfer of small jpeg files is not bad but very slow.
I use snapbridge with my d500. I have no issues. I do agree with the post above. Do not try to pair them each time. Turn on snapbridge on your phone turn on the camera and enable Bluetooth or WiFi in camera. Once paired no need to pair again. I Love it. I set my camera on my tripod and can see what my camera sees on my phone. Focus change settings and shoot without ever touching my camera. I use Android.

Snap ridge is one of the reasons I switched to Sony
Plane and simple I just doesn’t work!
I guess I'm lucky. Have used Snapbridge with 3400 and 7500 for 5 years on bluetooth to Samsung 10.1 tablet. Just use it to see download of shots taken in real estate and it is amazing. +35000 on 3400 and over 50000 on 7500. Had to reinstall 1 time and maybe once a month reboot it. Always auto pairs....just turn it on

Well, I use SnapBridge for my Nikon and Imaging Edge for my Sony. My own experience is different than yours. SnapBridge works all the times and Imaging edge works most the times.

I use it just about everyday for social media posting from news events. It takes a minute to link up (android phone) but works fine. Use it with a D850 and D500.
I also have no issues with Snapbridge with my Z6 ii. I find it very useful as TerryVX mentions for immediate posting to social media, or a quick jpg to a friend. Actually don't even have to mess with reconnecting at all..

I never had an issue with snapbridge until the latest update. Now it takes an act of god to get my phone to connect to the camera.
I use SnapBridge all the time on my D850 it works about the same as Cascable and app on Apple App Store. Both work great for me. I use it to transfer and mark locations on my on my photos. It also works great as a remote trigger to take long exposure.
I have it paired to my iPhone and iPad. All you do is select to which device you want to pair to when you turn on SnapBridge.
I use snapbridge ,after I paired it with my iPhone 10 and later my 12 it works flawlessly.

I only recently installed SnapBridge, just to play with it, in the last couple of weeks. I had absolutely no issues installing and using it on my Z6 and Samsung S21 phone (Android). It seemed to work as it should, but I was only trying it out. Best of luck.
I use Snapbridge all the time with my Z6 and found it to be reliable mostly using Bluetooth. When the images are download to my phone, they are also sent to Google photos for permanent archiving. Simple one-step way to transfer to Google Photos without taking out the XQD card or plugging the camera to a computer.
I can control the camera using it as a remote viewfinder and shutter release; very handy if the camera is on a tripod and I cannot stay by the camera.
