Great shot! The color provides a challenge for the first glance due to the orange caution signs. The b&w does not and the first glance goes straight to the girls, not the signs. I guess it depends on what your subject is supposed to be.

Thanks, AZNikon. Those signal lights do catch the eye. In this case, the subject was deliberately ambiguous.

Nice shot, Voss.
To me the color version tells more than b&w.
The Yellow on lights over the intersection says why the girls waiting (although in the b&w one could guess if you know colors by the position of a light). And besides, the color photo is more vivid.
