Interesting pictures and a nice return on your efforts in behalf of the animals. By the way, it’s only cheating if you claim it is something it isn’t.

Thank you. I guess I say cheating because others to out and get fantastic photos by waiting and watching, and I let my trail cameras do the dirty work. I know they're not great photos, but they are accurate depictions of animals in their element. I appreciate your comments.

I’m glad you got some of that rain yesterday. We got some up here yesterday and today. It was lovely. Be careful hauling all that water.
So glad to hear that you got rain too. Watching our state turn crispy and brown has been a nightmare, and I hope we get enough moisture to turn things around. Coming back from my hike today, as rain was beginning to fall, I swear the trees were smiling upwards in gratitude. I know I was.

Great photos!!! I swear the Bobcat knows she is being videoed and is posing just for you. How awesome that you have such a wide variety of visitors to watch!!! I know that it is quite the effort to haul the water but it is obvious that it is appreciated. I'm looking forward to seeing more!!!

I hope I have more to share, soon. Most of the animals who appear in the videos seem aware of the camera and make a point of looking at it. The bear came over and licked it, then bit it, but amazingly didn't re-orient it as is often the case. They seem to accept the camera as a new part of the landscape. I appreciate your looking.

Nice shots and great story.
Thanks for looking. I've had trail cams for years, but only recently have I started sharing the harvest.
What you are doing is simply terrific. It was a pleasure to read and view this.
Great, compassionate project. You were rewarded with a wonderfully diverse group of thirsty critters. Very nicely done.
Kudos to you, my friend! Living in South Central NM I can appreciate your endeavors, but not nearly as much as the critters of our forests do, I'm sure. Really enjoyed reading your post and looking at your nice captures. And yes, the rains started yesterday and what a welcoming and refreshing sound it was!

Good for you and thanks for caring!!! We do exactly the same thing in the woods behind my property (Yes-we have serious drought conditions in my part of Florida every so often). I stopped putting water at the back of my property due to a coyote incursion, losing two of my cats to them, caught on game cam - sad. When the water table returns and my two ponds are "wet", I stop with the water trips, but like you are seeing, there is a constant line of visitors to my water tubs when there is none available within reasonable distance.
Lucky you, your efforts were worth the trouble and many thanks for your efforts and sharing these photos!!
Fun captures.
Thanks for your compassion and caring.
I think these are great pictures. I also think what you are doing is wonderful. Ted would surely approve.
Great photos! I’ve been thinking about buying a trail camera. What brand/model do you recommend?
Great effort and professionalism to gather wayward guests in thirst!
