Many Hedgehogers know Indrajeet Singh as "Micki". He has shown many of his phenomenal images on this site. I am deeply saddened to report that Micki died last Thursday. We became very good friends in 2015 when my wife, Elizabeth, and I have traveled together with Micki in India. He personally escorted us on two amazing wildlife photo shoots. He was an icon to many bird photographers, published in National Geographic, a consultant to Nikon, brilliant, highly educated, charming, blessed with a magnificent sense of humor and a superb teacher with with an enclycopedic knowledge of photographic physics and engineering. He transformed my interest in photography into a passion. Photography has lost one of its greatest giants.
My condolences to his family and friends. He was a very impressive photographer. He will be missed.

Thank you. I always smiled when I saw “India”. I knew we were all in for a treat.
Many prayers and thoughts about him and to his family.
Many sad thoughts and "words" about him being taken from us too early. His birds esp. got him a world wide group of followers.
😢 He is on my list of photographers of various things that I think "If I was half as good, I'd be great."
R.I.P. ......A great photographer and ambassador that will be missed !
.
My condolences to his family and friends.
So sorry for the loss of a fine photographer.
Condolences to the family and friends. I only came across his wonderful photography on UHH and have shared his works with friendly birders! He will be remembered....
I am very sorry to hear of his passing.
Jack
This is truly sad news, as is the loss of any of our UHH family.
My condolences to Micki’s family, loved ones, and friends. His participation will be sorely missed but will live on through the archived files here.
