Thanks for any insight anyone can provide.....
I have the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription and I am having problems. I have not used LR,PS Bridge Etc... since April. My Photoshop short cut is missing from the desktop and the Creative Cloud desktop shortcut is in the top left hand corner of my display. (this happens with every update) Creative Cloud is trying to load the applications and has been for 25 minutes. Does anyone know how to resent the update with out a complete reinstall? Thanks Again.
Have you phoned Adobe tech support yet? The one time I had a problem with upgrading Photoshop, their tech support person found and helped me fix my installation.
When you call them, be sure to say your problem is installing the current update. When you get a tech on the line, you can explain the details about what's happening.
Windows 10? I have had problems after win 10 updates( not adobe related, still using LR6). I had to uninstall a printer related software & reinstall after talking to a tech. Wiin 10 just did an update & probably a couple since April.
Does ADOBE actually have a phone support line? I've tried a dozen time only to drop off after 15-20 minutes!
I'm a stock holder as well as a customer and I think they don't really love me!
Thanks if you can help.
You can Chat from the Adobe Creative Cloud App. Remote support from Adobe techs is just one feature.

Where you have the shortcuts is an operating system thing. You didn't say if you have Apple or Windows. Put them where you want them.
"Creative Cloud is trying to load the applications and has been for 25 minutes."
It can take longer than that. It depends on your connections (WiFi?), internet speed and probably how busy Adobe servers are.
" Does anyone know how to resent the update with out a complete reinstall?"
There is not a way to reset the updating system. Recently I uninstalled the Creative Cloud app, downloaded a fresh instating file and installed it. I don't remember what I was trying to fix, but it got fixed.

Smart answers. I’ve had to reinstall the Creative Cloud app as well. Then everything works again!

Thanks everyone answers to the questions: no call to Adobe had the problem last night.
Giga bit (Cox) wired to desktop computer.
Windows 10 pro.
I will reinstall CC tonight.
I have the shortcuts on the desktop. During each update the shortcut is deleted and a new one is added to the desktop but it is put in the top left hand corner. The existing photoshop shortcut was removed but the new one was not added.
THANK YOU

Tonight all is well. There was an update that needed to be run(windows) and all Adobe products are now working properly. THANKS for the help.
My experience with updates is that they do take a long time for me. Sometimes an hour. When I get frustrated with it I check on the progress bar or circle or whatever you computer uses. If it has moved, you just need patience.
