I'm glad to see that Season 2 of "Ms. Fisher's Murder Mysteries" (from Australia) has started. It's a pleasure watching her and her car, an Austin Healey 3000, for an hour. That was my favorite car when I was younger, but they were always out of my price range. Does anyone else think she resembles Natalie Wood?

I, too, like the series, but she reminds me more of Marlo Thomas in the old That Girl series many moons ago.
I also loved the original Ms. Fisher series set in the 1920's/30's. We have viewed about 3/4 of the different series on Acorn.

Ah, yes. Marlo Thomas. There's a full-length movie, too.

Yep, love Healeys, especially the 3000 MKIII with the triple carbs. Still kicking myself for passing up that Healy LeMans (complete with folding windshield and louvered hood) many decades ago (no $ at the time). Lots of people stuffed 283 Chevys and 289 Fords in them back in the 60s - just before Carol Shelby stuffed a 289 into an ACE Bristol and created the Cobra. One issue with the Healy V8 was the wire wheels on the Healy wouldn’t stand up well to the torque, so Minilites were the preferred answer.

Looks like that series is about Miss Fisher's niece.

AcornTV. It costs $5.00/month paid in advance. Lots of good shows.

Wow, really good news about the return o fMs. Fisher's Murder Mysteries--I really liked the first season. Is the Austin Healey 3000 in the second season because I don't remember it from the first? That will add jazz to her. I had an Austin Healey 3000 in the '60s when I was in the army. Great car--still one of my favorite two or so that I've ever had. Used to run it in rallies all over Arizona where I was stationed for my last two years.

I had a '55 Ford when in high school. My uncle, who was only five year older than me, had an Austin Healey 3000. Some times when he had a date, my uncle would ask to trade cars with me for the weekend, which was great with me. I loved that little car.

Very cool! I see you took off the front bumperettes - I like it.

Yes, the front bumper was really bent and in those days and on military pay it was almost impossible to get a replacement in Arizona. Also it looked cooler this way too. Thanks

I have seen the new Ms Fisher and in my opinion it does not hold a candle to the origional series

Wanted the AH but had to settle for an MGA - looked similar if you didn't look too close..
I also like the new Ms. Fisher but much preferred the original.
ACORN has a lot of shows that are very good. BRITBART is the Teaser though - you can see the first episode of many series then when episode 2 comes up you have to subscribe to ACORN - got ya!
Best to just go to ACORN..

The MGA was a great car--I came on the Austin Healy by accident at a good price (plus I was coming back from a year in Turkey where I didn't have that much to spend my money on).
