I recently went to El Penitente, a place 80 miles from the capital Montevideo and 65 miles from home. My idea was to photograph the milky way with the waterfall but also to photograph the beauty of the landscape with the sunset. Unfortunately the weather did not follow what I expected at night, but I was able to take a panoramic view of the waterfall along with the milky way.
