I am still unable to walk 2 houses down to photograph in my neighbours huge and beautiful English garden,
so I must endure with the pathetic picking of my own sand lot lol.

But once in a while I get something interesting, such as the Argiope aurantia in the first and 2nd images.
Hope you enjoy.

Thanks mate.
I have to look harder to find interesting things, but they are there. wearing cheaters helps when looking.
Tree hoppers are rare, citrus hoppers not so much, and spiders everywhere. But only have seen one jumping spider.

Thanks.
They don't seem to transfer as well as they used to. been having that issue everywhere of late.
One of those images of the grey spider was 14 images stacked.
Flash is required when the overcast sky makes it dark in the morning, so sometimes stacking brings more detail :)

Terrific images, the 100mm is definitely working for you!
If you are looking at the world through the lens, you got a scary backyard.

scary is Australia LOL. It would make for an interesting back yard however.
Tried more shots this morning. Trash bug, and a few others. but this time with a 50mm reversed.
I think I need to get some extension tubes.

To be completely honest, who needs an English Garden when you have such wonderful photographic subjects in your back yard. These are incredible photos and you did them proud. Well done.
