While taking a break and checking out the progress of our flowers I noticed some bees enjoying the nectar the blooms offer them.

The Blackberry blooms seem to be quite popular. The Shasta Daisys hold some special attraction as the bees on the Daisys stayed locked to the flowers for up to five minutes at a time!

All the while a male Anna's Hummingbird was watching and supervising.

D500, 500pF. 1/500, f 5.6, ISO 800 to 2200. No EC or CPL-Handheld!

Downloads work!

Enjoy!

Great downloads and details Timothy, especially enjoyed the compositions of the bees. Love the beautiful Hummingbird.

Thanx for viewing! The Hummingbirds are now furiously attacking our feeders. Massive rain the last few days has most of the flowers in a non-pollen producing mode. The Hummers have young to feed so they now fearlessly use our feeders even with all of my 6'5" 270 lbs standing there. Hope the bees come back today between active thunderstorms!
