As a senior citizen I had the covid virus & was hospitalized for a month. Then in rehab for a long period. While in rehab, I got the shots & it was done pretty much matter-of-factly....like " here's your shots". I was not advised as to any questions about them. That, I feel, was wrong. If I had it to do over, I would have refused the shots. What happens now? Who knows? Six months(approx.) after contacting the virus, I still have altered taste, basically no sense of smell, reduced appetite, & some weakness. These are the symptoms I've noticed. OH,yes...also a reduced bank account partly because there is some "continued treatment" as a result of the virus I'm told. Who can say what the truth is here. All I'm sure of is that the shots have produced no noticeable improvements & perhaps have done harm.

Yep, the new ailments could have been caused by something else.
So easy to blame the new, unknown thing.

The article is written by someone who has no knowledge of how clinical trials are run and analyzed. For example, the article states that that purpose of the vaccines is to limit symptoms. No, the purpose of the vaccines is to prevent disease. What has been seen is that even with symptoms, vaccinated people don't die. Yes, they can be infected and pass on the disease, but if every one they contact has been vaccinated, then no one would die. Death is the endpoint. I could dissect every point in this sad argument but don't have enough time to bother with fools.

For those of you anti-vexers and deniers....this is reality:
1. Anyone who works for me is required to be vaccinated. No vaccine--go get a job elsewhere.
2. Anyone who comes to participate in my wife's business-'owner/manager of Bridge Club- is required to be vaccinated. No vaccine--go play somewhere else.
I care about my family. I care and respect my fellow citizens (and not some too); and will do whatever is reasonable and responsible to be a part of the solution.
Those of you who are deniers; it is not just about this pandemic, but have found reasons to avoid reasonable personal care regarding immunity to treatments and diseases for a long time. It only comes around to slap you into reality when one of your loved ones actually dies or becomes critically ill because you/they find any reason not to 'trust anyone'. You use your personal liberty and distrust of Big-Brother(s) as your basis for your independence. While the fact is you do not care about anyone but yourself and will shirk true responsibility for your actions.
The OP was irresponsible in posting only one side of the 'discussion'. Clearly written by someone with an agenda--including the OP. If you want to have a discussion; then post both sides for a proper discussion.
Sorry, I couldn't hold back anymore./

Individual rights trump everything.
No need to do what may be good for society.

96% of physicians have been vaccinated. I think that's your answer.

Who's over 65?
You or the person to whom you are replying?
Whom are you thanking?

Quote reply and extra words help avoid confusion.
