Had a bunch of stuff to do today, and my bad knee went on strike first thing this morning, so it took a while. Got 'er done, and the knee eased up, so out for some photos this evening. I missed a Western Tanager twice this morning, even way back from the windows, he spooked and flew before I could get a shot - wonderfully colorful . Sun was just up and a neighbor's gigantic bull passed through the property back to front on a mission and was gone. The Watch Pup made sure we were awake and understood the danger. A good rain earlier, greening up, and a nice finish to the day. A few close in with the D3 AF S Nikkor 24-85 1:3.5 4.5 G

Bad knees are no fun. Glad you felt better to go out and create some lovely images.
Great photos of a beautiful spread. Well done.

Thanks! Quoting Yoda, "Do or do not, there is no try."
Cool set. I am not a fan of landscapes but you do them so well I may have to change my tastes. Sorry about the Tanager but maybe tomorrow.

Many thanks! I never tire of it.
Very nice pictures Quixdraw! Over the years I have had seven knee operations. I have two knees but had three knee replacements. The math does not add up.

Nice shots of some really pretty land.
Awesome set....it sure turned out to be a pretty day.
Nice photos, you've got some beautiful land around you.
You are certainly enjoying your D3 with the 24-85 lens. These are beautiful images.
Beautiful set, QD. Because of the late start, you captured some fabulous lighting in #6 & 8 landscapes.
Nice set. Beautiful place!
