Wow I'd love to take spin in that red beauty, mike!
Great shots Mike!
As a kid, I'd buy Car & Driver and Motor Trend every month. I'd already fallen in love with a few different Ferrari models when I read a 'first hand' test report for the magazine. The author remarked, appropriately, that the Ferrari was painted in the most beautiful "arrest me red" color.
Life and circumstances never brought me to buying a Ferrari. And, I've seen them in many other paint colors. But, 'arrest me red' would definitely be my color choice.
Great photos!
Sonny Crocket drove a white one; red is better!
There's a private road course in Tamworth New Hampshire called "Club MotorSports." I stopped by once and saw more ferraris in one place than ever before.

Thank you very very much.

Wow, great photos of bright red Ferrri's. Ferrari made such great exotic cars. My favorite was always the Testarossa even though others may be more beautiful designs.
That model becomes my favorite because of its engine. I have been an un-abashed gearhead all my life, enmeshed in the technical goodness of the various engine designs. The Testarossa had the flat 12 cylinder which required the rear end to be very wide to accommodate the wide engine. But IMHO it was the most perfect engine design ever built. It took two silky smooth six cylinders mated together opposite each other creating the smoothest most vibration free engine ever -- absolute engine perfection. It just does not get any better than that.

If you like the Testarossa, you would probably love the original, the Testa Rossa, first produced in ‘57, with the wonderful Colombo V12, and gorgeous bodywork, with the pontoon fenders.
