Thinking of buying the FUJI X100V. Those who have used or bought this camera would you recommend it? Looking for a very good camera for simple everyday use. Easy to carry.

I would google for Fuji X10V. You will get some insight.
Don't think, just get one.
This camera is best described as "a camera bag in a box".
Also, while it can be incredibly easy to use, you can get as complex as you like.
Think of it as a souped-up Leica.
I had an x100s for a while; an older version of the same camera.
Loved it, except I’m used to being able to change lenses/focal lengths.
Zooming with your feet changes the perspective not the same thing.
The X100 series has a fixed 23mm lens (ff equivalent of about 35mm).
One of my favorite focal lengths, but it won’t do everything.
I switched to an X-E2 with interchangable lenses.
The newest version is the X-E4.
Depending on which of the excellent lenses you choose, it can be very compact.
As always, I recommend reading reviews and comparisons.

True, but the X100F and X100V have, effectively, three lenses built-in - the FF equivalent of 35, 50 and 75mm lenses.
Yammer all you like about "reduced resolution" (if that is even a concern).
The image quality at all three focal lengths is delightful.
Furthermore, the EV in the OV is a useful feature even Leica doesn't have.
Have fun!

True. The V does have 10 more mp than the s (26 vs 16) which is significant. There are times when I think I’d like another 100. The EVF is truly amazing, even in the s model.
Would also recommend the ex-# simply for the option of interchangeable lenses. Same experience. I have the xe-1 but I’m left eyed and found it’s rangefinder style a little to much camera in my nose and face so I also got an XT-10 which I love.

I have a Fujifilm X100T. Takes nice images. Though having only a 23mm lens makes it not the most useful camera for me since I do a lot of close-up and macro photography.

I have the Fuji X100V, and it is a truly remarkable camera. Had the X100F prior, took it as my only camera to Europe and had zero regrets.
I won’t go through all of its features (you can find online), but will highlight two main ones that convinced me to buy the X100V.
It has a leaf shutter, which enables Fill Flash up to 1/4,000 of a second, where most cameras can only sync to 1/250 of a second. The cameras ability to fill flash on sunny days is amazing.
Although it has a fixed 23mm (35mm FF equivalent) lens, its digital teleconverter capabilities enable you to shoot in 50mm and 75mm. Fuji uses special interpolation software for these additional focal lengths, and I cannot see any degradation in the images at 50mm and 75mm. Where you could only shoot at 50mm and 75mm in jpeg, a recent firmware update now gives you the ability to shoot RAW images at those focal lengths.
PM me if you have more specific questions about the X100V.

Nice looking camera but with one HUUUUUUUUUUUGE draw back for this shaky old man. No IS.
I have several versions of the X100 series over the years, but the latest V is a keeper with the least compromise; fast autofocus, weather sealed, flippy screen.
