Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can say IF they have had a similar experience as I am having at the moment?
Looking on the NIKON UK website, I saw there was an advisory that included the serial number of my Nikon D750.
I then looked up where NIKON advised it was sent to, after packing it very, very securely I sent it to the address on the south coast.
tomorrow it has been gone three weeks, hearing nothing I emailed NIKON, to be advised it was crossing Europe! to be repaired! ( NO repairs done in the UK !? )
I was also told the repair time was 3/4 weeks once it arrives!
so if I understand that correctly I will have been without my camera for a possible 7/8 weeks in total!
Is that normal? or average? or quick even? what are your experiences?

Wow! So someone is walking it across Europe? What kind of transportation takes that long? Imagine if it's not right when you get it back, and you have to return it.

oh, don't jest! it's giving me sleepless nights,
if it came back and wasn't working, how do I know the enormous distances traveled didn't have some impact on that fact?
the thought of having to wait that time all over again would make me want to contemplate doing away with myself !!!

Is it possible the trip over fixed the issue and they will say, No Defect Found"?

I usually feel better after a nice trip.
let's hope it comes back BOTH mended and feeling better for the trip across Europe for free.
