Just three landsapes overlooking Lake Windermere.Photograped last week.I've also added some info about Gummers how below.Please checkout the downloads.
Gummer's How is a hill in the southern part of the Lake District, on the eastern shore of Windermere, near its southern end. How, derived from the Old Norse word haugr, is a common local term for a hill or mound.
Although a relatively small hill (321 metres above sea level) by the standards of the Lake District, it is the highest of the foothills in the area, and commands excellent views, particularly along Windermere (the summit looks out over the magnificent Town Head House estate towards the lake.

Great Stuff Jim, what with your photos of Windermere, and Sylvia's of Hawkshead, you have both made me feel Homesick thanks for posting Colin from Liverpool , mind you that's many years ago, been out here NZ AND Aussle for 48yrs, Still love the Lakes, But, couldn't handle the traffic now in the UK

Thank you very much for taking the time to look in and comment Colin I really appreciated and to be honest the motorways especially these days in the UK are getting chaotic at times.I have a cousin Les Lunt originally from Prescott my birth town as well moved to No many many years ago.Glad you liked the photos.
