I don't doubt it; I think the Cathedral Grove is appropriately named. Another place I feel is like an outdoor cathedral is Tuolumne Meadows in upper Yosemite. Thank you for your comment.

We sat on a bench for a few minutes at the Cathedral Grove and just took it all in.

I love to wander out in Tuolumne Meadows (especially in the spring) and take it all in. Here's a photo of one of those times from a solo drive in June 2009 with the Lembert Dome in the background. This is a SOOC JPEG from a 6 MP Canon bridge camera.
