NY Yankees, no facial hair or long hair touching the ears. Although they seem to be relaxing a bit with Cole and Frazier. Stubble seems to be okay also, Andy Pettitte would shave after the games he'd pitch.

In High school, I applied for s clerical summer student job in the small town where I lived (3 cops and one 'currently empty' clerical position. I had long hair. A friend's mom, who knew the Chief said that they were looking for someone. I went and talked to the Chief and he said I was perfect for the job except for one thing.... my hair was too long and I had to cut it. Although my long hair did not mean that much to me, I did argue the point but he was adamant....cut it or no job. Well being relatively poor I needed the money so I cut it. On the first day of the job he was laughing. I asked him what was so funny. Well it turned out it was a setup. He bet my friend's mom that I would cut it and she bet him I wouldn't. The point of the story was that he didn't care if my hair was long as many guys had long hair back then. Turns out he just wanted to beat her in the bet.
Needless to say I let it grow all summer....grrrrr......
