Yosemite in the springtime is just so beautiful, temperatures in the '70s, dogwoods blooming, just perfect. This valley shot features Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls.
This is a 10 image stitch to cover the entirety of the valley wall. Exposure adjusted in Lightroom, color and contrast, and sky replacement done in Luminar AI.
Yosemite valley is a product of eons of glaciation stretching back 20,000 years. At one point, the valley was entirely filled with an ocean of ice with only the top of Half Dome exposed. The path on the left of the image roughly corresponds to the maximum reach of the glaciation.
Super great photo. It really is a beautiful place. I always marvel at how steeply the mountains rise from the flat valleys.
