Thank you for your comments Joe. I took these with a D7100 - 105mm F/2.8G Macro with 1.4 X II.
The last shot was at MFD of 1.6 feet, F/25.

Looks like some kind of moth. Been 65 years since I took a class in etymology so you are on your own. I'm pretty sure it's a moth. I'd start there.
