I found a packet of photographs containing both negatives and prints.
One is photograph is dated 1915 on the back. One photograph has a location on the back, but I am not sure of what it says.

Any information on the Zeppelin model, airplane model, camera used and location would be appreciated.

The negative image size is 88 by 140 mm. The prints appear to be contact prints.

Looks like, Victoria, something.

Great find in the old photographs. Congratulations.

Dirigible nearing Strassburg Victoria Louisa. Aircraft is most likely a Beleriot. Photo angle not good for identification and empinage not well defined so identification is difficult but forward fuselage and wings are clear and appear to be a Beleriot.

The airplane has Bleriot characteristics but it's hard to understand how the tail worked

No tail wheel on airplane because it didn't have brakes. The tail skid slowed it down.

While I am not sure it looks very possible that the photo may have been taken just east of Strasburg PA. between Strasburg and Gap. That area is Amish farm country and Rt 741 runs along near the rail line near Strasburg. The line is still in use today for tourist trips through the Amish farm country and is called The Strasburg Railroad. David photowizard2@gmail.com

You might consider e-mailing copies to Hal Bryan at EAA (hbryan@eaa.org). He's the guru over there. I watched an old movie a while back (some WWII prison escape movie) and wrote asking if he knew what kind of a plane it was (had a crank to start the engine). He e-mailed me back about 10 minutes later.

I found one film in that format by converting to inches Film 125 - 3.25X5.5.
From this you should be able to google and find cameras that used that film.

Thaz the normal “post card” format. Zillions of possible cameras.

Wonder why a Zep would be in Strasburg PA ? But who really knows. Not me.

I think it’s in Europe becuz the rail cars look European, stubbier and boxier than American stock.

EDIT:
A bit more research strongly suggests that LZ11 never flew outside Europe in civilian passenger service.

I did the initial search and found the film, I figured the OP could take the ball from there.
Have you noticed the OP has not responded to anyones post?
I agree with you on the railcars looking European, if we could see the couplers and the wheels we would know for sure.

The location of the zeppelins is definitely European. The photos are from the estate of a USA business man who had business partners in europe and travelled there occasionally.

Thanks to all for your responses they have been most helpful.
