Decided to take the snowshoes for a walk around Hankerchief Lake. Was an adventure just getting there! Came within about a foot of going off the edge on one corner, had to put all 4 chains on the tires and still had to shovel to make it thru one part of the road...just a lot of snow in a few spots!
But we made it to the lake and took our walk, didn't see any sign of any bull moose, was hoping to find some sheds in that area. We did see a cow moose and her calf for a split second before they disappeared in the brush.
But all in all it was a fun day!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed these...it sure was a fun day.
Looks like it was a great adventure. It is hard to believe you still have all that snow. It was in the low 90s here today.

We have snow in the mountains around here all year long...just depends on how high up you get
But most of it will melt by end of July then start building up again in Sept!
