Good thing I went to the last page. I was going to put up some of these same exact masks, except I went to the garden in the daytime as it was $16 cheaper then!! Some of my fellow camera club members went at night though and saw their pics, so I'm not too disappointed.

Here is one I shot at night at the gardens. I thought the $16.00 was worth seeing them at night.

I probably would have spent the extra money, but I didn't even have the part-time job that I have now. I haven't worked a 40-hour week since last August :( The sculptures were still impressive, even in the daytime.

plessner - i like that mask but it looks like someone stepped on its toe and it is saying ouch

Pat - I was wondering where you were today and RR also - excellent masks - i love them, made me smile. The one for me, the helping hand was nice, I wish I could come to the beach and get it....

p6 Leave early Thursday Ams to go with daughter to take grandson to school. Then we shop, shoot etc. for about 3 hours. Expect someone here in about an hr., dinner to prepare - you know the drill.

you look funny.

Lambertville, NJ is about 6 miles from me and the town takes this holiday seriously.....we used to hang out at a friends in town and HELP her give out candy because folks would come from miles away. One year she closed her doors and turned off the lights after giving away500 dollars worth of candy. But noone ever thought of a shuttle. We just stayed and partied till they all went away and they opened the streets back up. This will be the first year in a while that there will be no party. She moved. the little beggers ate her out of house and home....TAKE THAT RUFE...and my story is true.

Was doing some shopping at Costco and noted that there must have been at least two semi loads of Halloween Candy parked in one isle. In years past one of our neighbors gave the trick or treaters 1 pound hershey bars. Bus loads came each year. We had to park a car in a nearby shopping center if we needed to leave. We gave 5000 pieces of candy to the little beggars, many of whom had pillow cases. It was an obsessive demonstration of being. Most of the kids were very polite and had thought out costumes on. Some, were downright rude and demanding. When I was growing up, Halloween was a real hoot. Harmless mischief with soaped windows, and upset a few country school privies. I think it may have been a lot more fun than todays version or maybe I am just an old Grumpy Geiser. Happy Halloween everybody!

My wife goes over to the old neighborhood and hands out milk and eggs to the trick or treaters. No one comes to our current house.

I am not quite sure what Sher envisioned for this topic but we will go with it all the same. Hopefully she will be able to join us at some point during the day and show us what she had in mind. In the meantime, I was totally unprepared and have nothing..... soooo I will go with scarecrows since it closely resembles masks - lol - I am stretching. Please join us and have some fun.
Let's send positive thoughts to Sher that she will have the strength to get through all she is facing. We love ya Sher.

Love this pic. It is what every father thinks of the boys his daughter is friends with!
