Just wondering about my fellow UHH members - what's your "go to" mode and file format? Just your "normal" settings please.
Me = RAW + MANUAL

I shoot mostly in RAW and manual, but in an effort to learn more about exposure and to improve my photos, I am beginning to branch out with other modes plus varying the custom image settings, attempting to get the best SOOC I can achieve.
If Ansel Adams were still alive he would shoot RAW and Manual.
Would he shoot mirrorless and use a carbon fiber tripod rather than the brute he is associated with?
Aperture priority and Raw

RAW + Aperture Priority, and some Manual, Shutter Priority. Have only experimented with All Auto, Program, Auto ISO, Auto Sensitivity.
Why are you curious? Don't you need to know the camera as well for any of it to make sense?
I shot RAW and auto most of the time, sometimes aperture priority if auto doesn't give me enough depth of field. Very rarely I shoot shutter priority to stop action.

raw and manual. But that is only because I've been on UHH for so many years!
Normal is Raw-Manual however depending on conditions Raw-Auto ISO.
99.9% of the time - RAW and Manual.

Manual, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Program Mode, each depending on the subject and situation, usually Manual for BIF or any fast action, A for landscapes, S for slow moving subjects, P as a standby mode for fast snapshots without having to worry about settings - JPEG mostly, RAW+JPEG occasionally in challenging lighting situations.
I too prefer Raw and Manual. It gives me total confidence in my photos and lets me bring out the best in them.
