15 miles to the north is the Muskegon lighthouse then 20 miles to the north in Whitehall is the White River Light station another 20 miles get you to the Little Sable point Lighthouse Silver lake. From there north are many many more.
You may want to check out this website for a map and directions of the Lake Michigan lighthouse map snd circle tour.

dilla.b - of all the lighthouses Jim listed -Little Sable is my favorite. It's in a beautiful spot & the light itself is special. The only thing I'd be concerned about is how much beach is left because of the great increase in Lake Michigan's water levels. Can't wait to see your photos!!
I live in Grand Haven. There are two lights on the south pier, and one across the Grand Rive Channel on the north pier. Easy parking and walking at both locations. Here is a link to North Pier.
https://visitgrandhaven.com/listing/north-pier/Over the years light pollution has intensified, I am not certain you will see the Milky Way.
Lake Michigan levels are down significantly this year
Thank you. I have been to Little Sable during the day and got some great shots. What I remember is that I should be able to position myself on the north side with a good view southward to capture the milky way behind it. Not sure about light pollution here but certainly worth a shot.
Thanks Jim for this link. A great source.
