An hour at the Cincinnati zoo

I remember going to the Cincinnati Zoo back in the 60s when the Opera was performed there in an outdoor theater. If the music got a little too exciting for the animals they would start getting involved. It was great hearing the elephants blasting along with the trombones and baritones. A unique experience.

The still do some outdoor concerts there for fund raising, beautiful zoo.

Just want to thank everyone for the nice comments and apologize for the lateness. Work medical and I was called to help one of my doctors do some spinal procedures and didn’t get home till late. Went straight to bed, again many thanks for all the wonderful comments.

These are really great. I’ve never been there but have recently moved a days drive away. Looks like it would be worth the trip. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, make it an over night or weekend trip . Many things to do: Newport Aquarium, Museum of Natural History, and the Cincinnati Reds. Just to name a few, many great restaurants as well.
