Lee Aker, boy star of Rin Tin Tin, has died at 77.
Very sad to hear this. I remember the series well, and Rusty's iconic call, "Yo, Rinny!' I'm glad that funeral arrangements are in the works.
Yes. Very sad. Child actors from the past did not always get a fair share.

How very sad. Even today I recall his "Yo Rinty!" It was one of my favorite shows in the 1950's. As a ten year old Cub Scout I visited the Fort Apache sets in "Corriganville" in Simi Valley, CA, where the show was filmed. And today, I live within walking distance of what is now "Corriganville Park. The sets are long gone, but the fond memories remain. Rest In Peace Lee Aaker.
A sad story, I remember that show so well. I am the same age, and am getting a rescue German Shepherd at the end of this month.
