Thank you very very much John.
I took that road there was a fair amount of traffic early Sept Moose hunting was open. All gravel pits & clearings by the road were nearly full of vehicles, campers and tents.
My camper toke a beating, cabinet doors came open dumped the contents out and reclosed, the top came off my stove, the oven door nearly fell apart. I heard a loud metallic sound behind me I never found what it was, the hitch chains & equalizer bars on the hitch were ok I didn't break a leaf spring on the truck. The bottom molding on the camper pulled loose. The day before I went 66 miles on the road into the park I clouds covered the mountain I could mot see it. Driving this road I stopped to look at things turned around than was Mount Denali.
The next day I drove a rougher road to go to a glacier but did not tow the trailer on that one.

Thank you very very much Dean. I see I was not the only one with bad experiences.

This road was used before the Highway Anchorage to Fairbanks was built. A 135 mile road, the worst gravel road I have ever seen. Rental cars are not allowed. A days drive and you meet maybe 10 cars.
Wow... the mountains are awesome, mike...gorgeous pictures!
Thamk you very very much Merry.
