I have had a Fuji S7000 and still have a Fuji S9000. They both took awesome pictures. The S9000 works better than my D80 in some isolated situations. The S9000 is a 9 megapixel camera with a 10X telephoto lens. If you are looking for a knock-around bridge camera that takes awesome pictures and you can have some fun with, I would recommend a Fuji Fine Pix. I am not sure what the newer model numbers are. This flower pix was taken with my S9000. It is untouched right out of the camera.

Here is a link to Fuji's website to get all the information on the new cameras that they have. Enjoy!

Here is some from the Fuji S100fs (4+ years old) which is now the new improved X-S1.

I have posted a ton of my photos that I have taken with my Fuji camera. Most of my fire photos are taken with it.

I just bought a Fuji FinePix HS25 EXR and very, very satisfied with this one. It's almost too easy to take a normal picture.

Fuji have always gone for a very natural look, and it's a look that's not going to go out of fashion any time soon. I suspect that that is the reason why a fairly old camera still has the ability to surprise.

I shoot with a Nikon D3100 with several lens. Someone gave me an old Fuiji Finepix A350 and | was staggered at the excellence of the pictures.Makes you think.

I have both a S100FS and a HS20EXR amazing cameras no chromatic aborations even at full zoom. Can't say the same thing on my Sony A65 70 to 200

My first digital camera was the fuji s7000(ccd sensor) and I was very satisfied with it and still use it. Here's some shots from it.
