Thinking about it yesterday and today, I missed an important element. Though Kodachrome lives in some of our minds, a point of reference is needed. Not the high tech thing (for me, anyway), just a good couple of slide scans to start the thread. Will go down into the box room and find some Kodachrome slides I've already scanned, or scan new ones as a benchmark. Still pursuing this initiative. At the end of an unpleasant Montana day, improvement, Df with AF S Nikkor 24-120 1: 4 G ED on.. Moving ahead!
Very nice shots, quixdraw.
These are lookin good. Do you feel that they compare well on the screen with your slides on a light box?

Thank you! Isn't that always the issue, is what I see, particularly on computer monitor, what you see. I have a light box, a hand held viewer, and when energetic, a projector and screen. I'm getting some shots that compare to some extent with views of slides. Can't say more. When I post a combination, everyone can decide. Though I stored them well, my newest Kodachrome slides will date to 2010, though Dwayne's processed for a bit longer, don't think I sent them any.
