Entertaining your Kitty

Not sure how anyone else's kitty would react to this video we got for our little friend Julius, but he will watch this for about 30 minutes then he gets hungry, eats and comes back for more. It was about 20 bucks online, easy to find called "Pet Sitter Video”.
It even entertains us when he jumps up to get close and bats at the tv when something moves quick. Real funny to watch him and he gets to not be so bored.

I have a similar one for my cat. When the mice disappear, she looks behind the screen. Not sure who is more entertained, me or the cat! There is also a mouse game for the iPad which she loves. The mice squeak when she hits them with her paw. She will often bat at the iPad and then look at me to let me know she wants me to put it on for her.

I don't want my cat's claws on my $3000 TV screen.

If you are dedicating the tv to your cat’s entertainment, you can get a smaller, cheaper one.

Animals do seem to pay attention to what's on a TV screen.

Our cat, Milly, was sleeping next to me on the couch with a nature show on the TV. She woke up about the time a bird was shown going after worms in a lawn. She took one long jump across the room head first into the TV. She recovered and kept trying to catch the bird until it flew away. That was back in the CRT days so the TV was fine. Milly may have had a sore head though.

My kitty has very sharp claws, but they are not nearly as tough as the TV screen. I never worry about scratching it.
