Hi. I am a medium level amateur and prefer my viewfinder and features of my T7i. When my wife uses the T7i it goes on auto. She prefers her cell phone. She has a Galaxy S9 which is a decent camera but she would like something better. She has always been in the Android world and change operating systems would be a challenge but is possible. I use an iPhone 8 and she has an iPad pro for her music so switching to the Apple world would be possible. She also does not want a phone that would be noticeably bigger than her S9.
Thanks

I have a Samsung S10+ and I was surprised by the quality of it's camera. Previously I had a S7 and this camera is head and shoulders better. I still prefer my Canon S80 and my Panny G9 but I have used my cell phone in situations when I didn't have another camera and some of those images have won in photo club competitions. From what I've heard the newest S20? has an even better camera. I can't compare but I've read that the Samsung new camera's are better than the Iphone camera. That comparison might be worth a google search.
The battle is ongoing. Wait awhile and the order will change. But the lead contenders are:
-iPhone 12 Pro Max
-Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
-Google Pixel 5

Yes indeed, It is a close competitive horse race and that's a good thing for consumers.
I am ready to buy a new iPhone also. I have begun my research. Will someone share the difference between the iPhone 12 and 12 Max?
The iPhone 12 or 12 Pro would be a good choice. The 12 Pro Max is probably larger than she would prefer.
