Thanks, when I saw the “caterpillar” I knew I would be using it for something. It was a tree bud. I have never seen this particular bud before. I will have to revisit the tree once it blossoms to see if I can figure out the tree species.

This appears to be a chestnut flower, the leaves are similar to this tree too.

Frank, this is terrific. At first glance I thought it really was a caterpillar. Your imagination works overtime and your creative side manages to keep up with it.

Very different Frank, love the glasses. I thought the caterpillar was a catkin flower from a Pussy Willow tree....

Thanks Val, I thought the glasses made the composite. I plan to go back to see exactly what it developed into.
