Why not any concern for the Native American folks who were here first?
No, “its all about the blacks”. Bovine Excrement! There are many blacks and ‘people of color’ who have worked, produced, and become contributing citizens — and they did it of their own initiative. Not with a hand-out, not with any ‘reparation’ help nonsense, but by hard work.
Regrettably, there exists a substantial percentage of the “black” population that seems unable to work, perform, or contribute to orderly society. There are numerous opportunities, it just seems that other ethnic groups seems to claw themselves off the bottom of the heap (Irish, Italians, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Germans . . .). While the blacks just remain (for their 18% or so of the population) largely at the bottom: Poor. Uneducated. Plagued by crime, gangs, drugs and disease. Seemingly by their own choice.
And that leads me to another subject: all this BS about “white privilege”. What a load of crap! Personally I slogged through six years of the Army, Guard and Reserves plus summer jobs to get through college, then worked (Yeah, really WORKED) for forty years to support a family and acquire a few possessions, a house, a car, a camera (!) or three. But I never whined and begged for a handout, nor did I consider that my “race” entitled me to ANYTHING.

Furthermore, I am 1/4 Creek Indian and my ancestors were torn from the beautiful forests of Alabama and Georgia, forced to learn to eke out a living in what is now the state of Oklahoma, a land that was totally alien to them and their way of life. My mother and her siblings and countless other Native Americans were taken from their families and sent to government run schools to teach them to be "civilized." These indignities were perpetrated on my ancestors, not me. I believe that they are due substantial reparations for the loss of their homes and farms and their very way of life. These folks are now dead. In my opinion, the debt died with them. The government owes me nothing and I demand nothing except the right to work and enjoy the fruit of my labors.
I am 75 years old and retired. My wife often laughs at my indignation at the concessions made to those who produce nothing but more mouths to feed, stating that we, too, are living on the government's dole with both of us drawing social security checks, her getting a retired state employees pension and my 40% disability check from the V.A. I dunno, since I am one of the indolent nonworking folks with time on my hands, maybe I should get a couple of tatts anda gold "grill" and look into rioting and protesting
