Why not any concern for the Native American folks who were here first?

No, “its all about the blacks”. Bovine Excrement! There are many blacks and ‘people of color’ who have worked, produced, and become contributing citizens — and they did it of their own initiative. Not with a hand-out, not with any ‘reparation’ help nonsense, but by hard work.

Regrettably, there exists a substantial percentage of the “black” population that seems unable to work, perform, or contribute to orderly society. There are numerous opportunities, it just seems that other ethnic groups seems to claw themselves off the bottom of the heap (Irish, Italians, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Germans . . .). While the blacks just remain (for their 18% or so of the population) largely at the bottom: Poor. Uneducated. Plagued by crime, gangs, drugs and disease. Seemingly by their own choice.

And that leads me to another subject: all this BS about “white privilege”. What a load of crap! Personally I slogged through six years of the Army, Guard and Reserves plus summer jobs to get through college, then worked (Yeah, really WORKED) for forty years to support a family and acquire a few possessions, a house, a car, a camera (!) or three. But I never whined and begged for a handout, nor did I consider that my “race” entitled me to ANYTHING.

I suppose you’re white, maybe white folks need to start tooting their own horn.

Which is supported by those and cheered on by the left
I say again immigration especially illegal immigration affects blacks the most.

Don’t lump black folks with the other so called people of color. Their experience is not our

I can't help but agree with you on many points. I can also agree with Wyantry on some points too.

I completely agree with you that poor immigration policies such as is going on right now as well as millions of illegal aliens flooding into America for years has hurt the blacks in America. These people with no education, no job skills will work for close to nothing to get ahead. Worse, the political climate has the Democrats offering jobs, education and housing to immigrants but not to American citizens. Why is it that Democrats are simply unable or unwilling to take care of American citizens before illegal aliens. Mexican immigrants do take opportunities away from black Americans.

For DennyT, yes we all know these people are asylum seekers and not illegal aliens.

As Wyantry says, to paraphrase, there are numerous blacks who have worked and have established themselves in the American work force. Millions of black men and women have reached the top of their work choice. We have had a black President, black SCOTUS justices, black doctors, lawyers, teachers, any form of work in America has blacks at the top. But there are countless numbers of blacks who seemingly choose to live at the poverty level and receive government assistance. Those people could do better, could better themselves. Opportunities are there for them.

As for Native Americans they seem to be in a class all by themselves. Jobs are there if they want them. But for some reason the government gives tribal members (I do not know if it is all tribes) money each year just for being Native American. But many tribes have capitalized on the oil found on their reservations, opened up gambling casinos and so on. As with the blacks, the Indian Wars ended over 100 years ago. Opportunities are there if these people want them. I do not see a lot of complaining from Native Americans though.

I do agree, and over time its going to hurt us all. I know I keep singing the same song and I will continue to is because it will affect the black community the most. Like the article states they will move into the black communities etc. That article is spot on and you cannot get around it.
Blacks will get hit the hardest.
Also again I posted this article for one person in particular. Because this was written by a black man with no political leaning what so ever. I get tired of being called a racist, as well as an Uncle Tom because of my conservative leanings.
