Thank you for posting your comment. I'm wondering how many others laughed as hard as I did when they read it.

That TZ episode is one of my favorites. Great acting. Some people have the ability to just carry the moment.

Agnes Moorehead did this in one of the more famous episodes of Suspense on classic radio called "Sorry, Wrong Number" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dT4nhLyKlM

He was the passenger in the ORIGINAL TWILIGHT ZONE, not the remake.

I was listening to 60's on 6 (Sirius XM) the other day and they mentioned his birthday. Did you know he made a couple of 're-makes' of songs? "Lucy in the Sky (with Diamonds)" and "Mr Tambourine Man?" They are beyond bad, well on the way to horrible, and nearly enough to make you loose your lunch. Stick to acting and forget music, Bill...

John Lithgow was the passenger in the feature film remake of the t.v. episode. William Shatner was in the original.

He also had a long-running series between Star Trek and Boston Legal. It was the cop show, T.J. Hooker. He also had a series of Star Trek feature films.

You’re right, the songs are awful. He was just capitalizing on the “anything Shatner” movement among his fan base.

I'm not a "Trekkie", but I started following him in "Boston Legal" (Denny Crane) with James Spader and then in the series where he travelled the world with George Foreman, Terry Bradshaw and Henry Winkler(really enjoyed this one) and I remember an old "Twilight Zone" where he was a passenger in a plane and he swore that someone was on the wing. Hope he lasts forever!

I guess I am giving away my age if I say that I recall watching him in a number of the "Twilight Zone" shows. He was in quite a few. He was the passenger who saw the person/creature on the airplane wing in what was one of the more famous episodes.
