We see many pictures of flying and perched bald headed eagles. I thought this picture might help viewers grasp the size of these great birds. Not sure of the coyote's demise, but eagle and local ravens will enjoy.

The picture was taken through my window.

Fortunate capture.

But they are Bald Eagles - not bald headed eagles

Thank you one and all for your comments. As the day wore on, there were both bald and golden eagles fighting over the coyote.

A friends mom went to visit her son in Alaska. While waiting for a ferry , sitting on a deck at a restaurant she snapped a few of the eagles. Until then , I never realized how big they can get. Nice catch.

That's quite a picture. Crop it and frame it!

Good shot. Makes me not want to walk around in your yard.

Let's hope the coyote wasn't poisoned.

Yes, an Eagle is a pretty large bird. Thanks for sharing 😀

When I lived in the mountains, my home had a large set of windows on the West end. One time when I was reading and the light went dim, into shadow. I looked up at the window just in time to see Mr. America flying across the sky. They are remarkable.
