Interesting - Eisenhower tunnel is a new one on me. And I see on Google that there is now a ride up the mountain just to the right of the "lodge", but I don't think it's for skiing. Just one cable.

Our daughter was in Lahr with the army and we would vacation with her....on that autobahn in an old Westfalia. An amazing road it is. Kas.
