I did quite often after first getting mine, the only way (in my opinion), it's really practical is if one has a permanent location with an 'in place' projection screen to make it handy if or when you want to show your photos. Otherwise the setting-up process each times can become a drag. Just my opinion, but then, like back in the day.... viewing those old Ectachrome SLIDES sure was impressive, so.....

There lies your understanding of the thread question:
Does anyone here view their images using a digital projector?Possible answers:
Yes
No
Never thought about it
An explanation on the answer would be welcomed.
TV stuff? Compare and contrast the use, not the promotion of TVs, Sorry.

I am thinking about buying one. Does anybody have any advice?
I put photos to view on a laptop computer from my desk top. Then I connect the laptop to a television using an HDMI cable and then view on the tv screen. Cheap and very good quality. This allows viewing photos anywhere that has a tv, without dragging a lot of equipment around other than a cable and laptop.
This is not to say that there are no uses for digital projectors. There are numerous instances where the projectors are useful, and needed, and my suggestion is a quick and cheap alternative when circumstances warrant.
