I have several Thinktank bags which have been very good and durable. They also have a new Mindshift line. They aren't cheap.

Have recently purchased some new Canon gear including a Canon 600m lens which doesn't fit well in my hodge podge of camera bags ranging from an old Adorama Slinger bag to Peak design small bag that works well with some older Fuji gear. We lost our camera store in Santa Barbara (Samy's) which is where I would have gone to check out cam bags. So I'm at a loss as to where to look for camera bags. Nervous about buying a new bag on line but I guess that's my only alternative at present. There are so many choices! Some advice would be very helpful. Thank you.

Dossile has given excellent advice. B&H is my choice to search - they carry a wide variety, and their site is easy to navigate. Buy from whoever has the best deal. You should already know how you want to carry it, how you want to stow your gear, and how you want to access it. To the other recommended brands I will add Tamrac, Manfrotto and Billingsley. All you need now is to check what is available in the correct size, style and colour. Good luck!

My favorite is my Lowepro sling bag. Bright orange inside with movable inserts plus pockets for cards and batteries, etc. I can wear it cross body or from shoulder.

Just got back from Saturday morning Farmers Market! Strawberries were in abundance. Cheers.

It depends on what style and size of bag you want, but I recommend taking a look at camera bags made by LowePro. They have a wide variety of bags, and you're bound to find one the meets your needs. I have quite a few, and I've always been pleased with their looks, features and quality. https://www.lowepro.com/us-en/

I would recommend the Mindshift Backlight 36L. They also have a 45L if the 36L is not big enough, but it is not airline carry-on compliant. The 36L is.
