I've seen eagles chasing osprey with a recent fish catch and final the osprey dropped the fish and eagle caught it mid air.
Thanks for your comment. Yes, the area where I took this shot (Jordan Lake Dam in North Carolina) is a winter feeding/spring nesting area for both eagles and osprey. The eagles come from December to March and the Osprey from March to May. When they overlap I've seen eagles force Osprey (and other eagles) to drop their fish. I guess some eagles are bullies!
