When visiting New Orleans, be certain to visit the Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art. There is a plethora of the most amazing pieces of sculpture to see and photograph at this one-of-a-kind attraction.

NOMA (New Orleans Museum of Art) is located in City Park. The Sculpture Garden is one of the main attractions.

The Garden was under ~6 feet of storm surge during Katrina. Needless to say, the place was wrecked. The piece I photographed was not on display during Katrina and probably will not endure the extreme winds of a strong hurricane. The Besthoffs not only repaired the damaged mess of their donation to the city, last year the Sculpture Garden opened a huge addition that is truly amazing.
