Daylight Savings Time started today. Just curious. How many clocks did you have to manually set? 9 for me.
Dear Jim, Did you remember to set the clocks in your cars?
Seven in the house plus one of the cars.
Forgot two heating thermostats and three cameras....
Ten in the house.
Luckily, six are automatic.
I moved my sundial 30 degrees.

I did. One sets automatically and one I had to set manually. Also, I forgot about the one on the back porch.
Six, plus one that I never change. It is on the wall of our game room. That room does not participate in daylight savings time.
I heard that an American indian said the white man was the only one he knew who thought they could get a longer blanket by cutting one end off and sewing it on to the other end.
Personally, I think its time to end DST.
Today is the day we all complain about Daylight Saving Time (should really be called Daylight Shifting Time, since nothing is really Saved.)
Let us fast forward to June 20, 2021, the Summer Solstice. The day with the most daylight of the entire year.
In Philadelphia, if we did not shift the clock, Sunrise would be at 4:30 am and Sunset would be at 7:31 pm.
With today's time shift, we will experience Sunrise at 5:30 am and Sunset at 8:31 pm.
So the choice is grumble today, one day, or grumble every day in June when the Sun rises too early and sets too early.

Cute quip, but only changes the location of the blanket (relative shift) if the blanket doesn't move,
just like DST.
None for me. As luckily Arizona doesn't observe it.
So now you are 10 years and 1 hour behind

Eight or 9 in the house plus the watch, and 2 in the cars.
Thanks for the reminder about the cameras - I'll go do them now.
