Or maybe a brewers blackbird.

Inaturalist also suggested Brown Dipper but it's range is Asia.

Brewer is only in Indiana when migrating. But we don't know what time of year the image was taken.

To me it looks like a Brown headed cowbird.

Brown-headed Cowbirds have dark eyes. This bird has a yellow eye.

I meant time of year as it might be a type seen in a location only during a certain season.

I think it looks like a grackle, but the colors don't match. I don't think the beak does either. So, here I am calling on the experts again. Thanks so much. :D:D

The way the light is hitting it....Could it be a cowbird

I was sure it was a Mug Womp... Its Mug hangs over one side of the log and its womp hangs over the other.

I'm going to venture to say a 'Yellow-eyed Junco'.

Thanks, Judy, but the bird was way bigger than a Junco. It's really hard to tell the size from the photo though.
They are about 8-9 inches long and the wing span is 13-15 inches.
