I usually let a professional do it as there is a good one here in Houston that does a great job. He does it better than I can do it. And believe me I have tried!

I ordered these supplies. The swabs from B&H and the fluid from Amazon. B&H won't ship the fluid for some reason. Adorama will and Amazon will.

Eclipse fluid is usually pure methanol — methyl alcohol. It is extremely flammable, so depending upon the vendor's shipper, it may or may not be acceptable to ship. Aeroclipse fluid can fly on planes, but Eclipse cannot. If you travel with a cleaning kit, DO NOT take Eclipse. Get the Aeroclipse instead. It will pass security!

We were on a 6 month trip in our RV in Alaska almost to the Arctic circle and I couldn't get my sensor clean, after many tries, we used the big air compressor that blows up the huge tires on the RV. That how I havebeen doing it every since.

Now, I'm probably banned from this site🤣

I've been cleaning my sensors for at least ten years. Once I learned how and practiced a bit there's been no problems with the process.

I do it myself. I use Visible Dust Arctic Butterfly 724S Super Brite Sensor Brush to clean the sensor. Easy and simple.

actually earlier today, I did clean the sensor myself for the first time, after noticing sensor dust in a photo I had taken, yesterday. Fortunately, dry-cleaning it with an air blower was enough to remove the dust.

I clean my own. Kits are inexpensive and easy to use

I do it myself. Pentax K3 has a clever mode which takes a picture of the spots and presents it in a frame that looks like the front of the lens mount. No problem with reversing the spots on an image and location on the sensor. Us crop sensor sized swabs...never a problem.

The only problem I have with my sensor is dust. With my Rocket Blaster and soft brush I've handle the problems myself.
