Another great challenge. B&W is something of a challenge for me because it's difficult for me to visually convert a color image into B&W. A good friend and neighbor of mine suggested shooting with a red filter over the lens. That should help you visualize your subject better without the need of color. Smart guy. Here's a few of my images that to me looked better in B&W.

p.14 MartyO - WOW! "Body art" is especially wonderful. Where was #1 taken? It looks like lights at the old train station in Liberty Park, NJ
